The work of Peter Green has been part of many private and public collections, including the Nixon Library, Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum and the National Archives. Many of the personalities that have appeared in Politicards over the years have responded with personal notes expressing their appreciation of how they were depicted. Former Secretary of State George Shultz gave the cards as party gifts a number of times and according to David Eisenhower, his grandmother Mamie used to play Canasta with the 1972 deck.

For thirteen years Peter was a regular artist with the LA Times editorial pages, which were syndicated nationwide. Every Wednesday Peter would get the story that would require his illustration for the Sunday Times. “They would run whatever I drew — simply no time to redraw anything anyway,” Peter says.
